For a different type of practice that follows a series of folding and unfolding, try moon salutations.  There are 100s of variations of this sequence.  This is the one I learned from Anita Nunnely during a women’s flow workshop.  It is one of my favorites when my energy is low or I just want to stretch in a side to side motion- versus the up and down of the more masculine sun salutations.  Feel free to practice multiple times in a row then move to the floor for some longer stretches (cobbler’s pose or wide legged forward fold) or lay on a bolster for a passive backbend.  The moon is full tonight… so why not?
